GTX 1050 with GTX 1050 ti bios?

I Read somewhere that the GTX 1050 ti is the exact same at the GTX 1050 just with a diff bios. I was wondering if i can load in the GTX 1050 ti bios into my GTX 1050.

CPU: Intel Core i5 6600K at 4.6 GHz

Motherboard: MSI Z170 m5 Gaming

PSU: Corsair 550W 80+ Bronze

Storage: 1xSata 480GB SSD, 1xSata 750GB 7200GB HDD

RAM: 2x 8GB DDR4 Ripjaw Vengence

GPU: EVGA GTX 1050 FTW 2GB

Case: Spec-02

No, they're not the same. The TI has twice the Vram (4gb vs 2gb).

Not quite a dumb question, but good thing you asked before you did it. The base BIOS MIGHT work, but I wouldn't do it. Just stick with exactly what model you have.
