GTX 1050TI Intermittent HDMI Output Issues

I have just built a new PC, initially everything was ok on first start up but there seemed to be an intermittent fault as I thought it was going into sleep mode but there was still audio running. Then after restarting I would see the bios screen but no output via the HDMI, occasionally it would come back on but then eventually no output at all. I have put back in the GeForce 210 and connected it via the VGA with no problems although I do seem to be getting the same issue via HDMI with the GeForce 210 GPU.

isnt the ryzen 2700x a bit too powerful for the 1050ti?

have you got a spare HDMI cable?

I already had the 1050ti, I don't play games the PC is for mainly digital photography, the CPU is probably a bit of a mismatch to the GPU, shouldn't have thought it would make any difference though, I haven't tried a new cable yet but will try that now. Cheers

saw that you monitor only came with a D-Sub cable, if you do not intend to game, it is more than powerful enough.

Just an update - It was the HDMI cable, just pinched my son's off his XBOX, working fine now, new one ordered
