GTX 1050TI Low Profile in an X1 PCI-e port

Hello,
I have recently gotten my hands on a Dell Optiplex with an I5-4590 and 8GB RAM and want to upgrade the system with a Low Profile 1050TI.
My problem is that the motherboard on this only has 2 ports, an x1 PCI-e (Closest to the CPU/On top) and an x16 PCI-e (Farthest away from the CPU/Bottom of motherboard)

What are my options? The X1 is open end so I can in theory fit the card in there, but I won't get the power it needs?

Thanks in advance :)

All pci-e slots have the power connections, it's the data connection that has different sizes.
However you should use the 16x port for the gpu.

This is a picture of the motherboard and the slots in the back of the case, I should have added this at the start of the post, since it explains it all https://imgur.com/a/VrLpYbD

Speccy detects the motherboard as the Dell Inc. 00V62H
Which is the right one that pops up if I do a google image search

Yes, but the only "new" single slot card would be the GT 1030, which might be a little too bad for the gaming performance I would want to achieve with this PC
Otherwise a good solution though!
