GTX 1050Ti SSC Installed Correctly?

Hello, I have an EVGA GTX1050Ti SSC installed in to my pc. However, I am wondering if I installed it correctly because the notch farthest to the left is not in the PCIE port. I am just looking for extra assurance that I installed it correctly

Motherboard is Gigabyte AM3+ ALC1150 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 ATX AMD Gaming Motherboard (GA-990FX)

i'll wait for the picture.

it sound like a correct install, the *notch* is to secure the card on the pci16x port. from the mobo picture, it should get clipped onto the mini red latch at the end of the pcie port.

Ok, just making sure because I don't know if that notch on the left sticking out is normal. What about the notch on the far right where the latch is. Should I push it in more?

If the notch is in place, give the card a gentle pull, you should not be able to pull the card out without using the release button at the far right.
