GTX 1060 3GB @ $169? Good Value?

The title pretty much addresses the core of my question. I was able to pick up an EVGA GTX 1060 3GB from Jet with a promo code that saved me $30. I understand the downside to this card with its disabled CUDA cores and lower VRAM. But, I am not gaming heavily and when I do I only game at 1080p. I really only wanted a card that would sustain high FPS at 1080p in titles like Starcraft, Batman, and Doom to name a few. The lower VRAM really isn't an issue for my gaming load. I had a very limited budget and I thought I would be lucky to snag an RX 470 below MSRP. But when I found that deal it sounded like a no-brainer. So, with the lower price, is the 1060 3GB a good card?
My Setup:

8GB DDR3 @ 1600 mHz
EVGA GTX 1060 3GB
EVGA 500 Watt Bronze
OCZ Trion 120GB SSD (Boot) 500GB HDD (Storage)

Solution
For 1080p Gaming i would say YES you made a good purchase.

I have the GTX 970 and game at 1080p, it runs everything perfect. And the GTX 1060 is a tad better than the 970 if im not mistaken so to answer your question, i would say yes, was a steal at that ptice!
