GTX 1060 3GB a good combo with G4600?

The 6GB version is upwards of 60 bucks more expensive and I'm really not sure 6GB is necessary for 1080p especially given that Nvidia has better compression than AMD.
 
Solution
There is more to the 6gb 1060 than 3 more gb of VRAM. There are more shaders as well. So if you can afford the 1060 6gb, then I would go for it as you are getting more than just 3gb more VRAM.
Yes, the 1060 3gb is much better than the 1050ti even though the 1050ti has one more gb of vram. Settings will have to be put on medium to run a 1050ti with good fps. At medium settings the additional go of vram will not be used and is just sitting idle. It is more of a marketing ploy than anything else.
