So i recently built a new pc with the nvidia gtx 1060 3gb and the intel core i5 7500, looking at benchmarks with the same specs they seem to get much higher and stable frames, for example playing doom it can hover from 90 fps to 40 fps and also dying light 130fps to 45 fps.

I have tried everything from updating drivers, nvidia control panel changes(prefer maximum performance), turning off vysync, checking temps( in games cpu temps are at 50c and gpu is at 60c) and reinstalling drivers, im helpless on what to do, ill provide full system specs just in case, thank you

Solution
First thing first there are tons of different GTX 1060 variants with different performance... like with different Engine Clock speeds and more....
2. maybe you didn't compare with exact same graphic settings
3. most YouTube GPU benchmarks videos are fake or edited with adobe premiere and changed their results
4. your GPU is a really good GPU but it has low Vram, 3GB! so when you maxed out your setting and using more than 3GB your GPU start using your physical RAM and it'll cause some FPS drops.
5. you can always little overclock your GPU for little more FPS
6. if you have a 60hz monitor you won't see any deference between 60FPS or 200FPS all you should worry about is solid 60+ fps and nothing less than 60
END : so little graphics...

END : so little graphics setting tricks + maybe little overclocking(I'm not fan of overclocking) + good physical 16GB RAM with high frequency, will give you solid 60FPS without any drops and you'll be happy for couple years! :) hope that helps you.
