GTX 1060 3gb low FPS

Hi, as what the title says, my Palit GTX 1060 3GB performs worse than what I see in the benchmarks.

I'm playing Rise of the Tomb Raider, max. (very high textures off) and I get below 50 fps most of the time, even though the benchmark says 70+ fps.

Also happens in GTA V. 80 fps, but I'm playing arpund below 50 as well.

Here's my specs

i5 4690K stock clock
12gb 1333mhz DDR3
Seagate 500GB Sata
Gigabyte Z87X-OC
CM B500 V2 PSU

What seems to be the problem?

I run Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.

You're probably seeing benchmarks with higher clocked i7's, not a stock i5.

Older generation i5's can benefit from an overclock, so would suggest an affordable aftermarket cooler:

And see if 4.0-4.2Ghz makes a difference.
