Gtx 1060 3gb not displaying anything from DVI-D outputs. Help?

My hdmi output works perfectly fine, but when i plug in anything to my dvi-d input, Windows 10 makes the "something disconnected" sound and my hdmi source, and the dvi-d source doesnt show up at all. They used to work fine with my old gpu, gtx 750 ti, but that was with hdmi and vga. Help?

Is your cable DVI-D, DVI-I or DVI-A?
