gtx 1060 3gb overclock

hello guys i wanted some help with overclocking my gigabyte gtx 1060 3 gb, what are the best settings as im not really that good with that stuff, and im using msi afterburner , appreciate the help, the reason i want to overclock is because im getting frame drops in ww2 which is quite annoying

He covers how to overclock using afterburner and it's better to see it on screen then to read me telling you how to do it lol.

What settings are you playing at? You may be seeing frame drops because your 3GB of VRAM is being saturated. It may have nothing to do with your clock speeds.

i already watched like 5 min of that video and i thought it was poinltess because he kept mentioning the gtx 1080 , the game is using a little above 2gb of vram so im unsure , would actually prefer if i could get some good settings and i would benchmark it after

every card is different there is no best settings for all cards.

Every graphics card is different, even if you buy two GTX 980ti's next to eachother on the same shelf, theyll overclock slightly different.

Try adding +10 to your memory and +5 to the core clock, run a game, if it works fine add another +10 and +5 until your game crashes or you start noticing issues. I think i reached a +400 memory clock with my 1070, but with games like CS:GO, I'd get memory issues. So just add 10 to your memory and 5 to the core clock then add and add and see how you go.

i just decided to choose random settings , im running base clock at 160 and memory at 212 so far no issues
