Hey guys i bought a gtx 1060 3gb gigabyte mini overclock edition and i played rise of the tomb raider on ultra presets smaa when i benchmark the game i got around 52 fps in dx11 and 43 fps in dx 12 but after some days when i start benchmark again with very high details fxaa the result was 52 fps in dx11 and 42 fps in dx 12 but the other gtx 1060 3gb on youtube perform better than my one what is the problem i am so sad because i bought this gpu a week ago and the results are upsetting me time by time. All the fps are average fps

my cpu: i5 2400 with 12gb ddr3 1333mhz
note: i am from pakistan so i am sorry if my English is not correct

Rise of the tomb rider is a really CPU intensive game, i have a i5 2400 and a 6GB 1060 and there is a really strong CPU bottleneck in a lot of areas. If you can get a used 3770 your FPS will rise (pun intended).

"but the other gtx 1060 3gb on youtube perform better than my one what is the problem"

This is information not just for you, but anyone reading this who is new to PC gaming. Don't try to get the same fps as other people with the same videocard because there are A LOT of factors that determine your framerate, not just the videocard. Even if the other person has the exact same specs as your computer there could be variables affecting framerate, such as tasks running in the background. All you can do is maximize the performance your system gets, it may or may not match performance other people get.

1080p nothing more.i have a question did my gtx 1060 overclock to 1731/1947 from 1531/1747 please tell me.

these are on youtube videos they do oc on fe card gtx 1060 well my base is 1531/1747 and i want to overclock it to 1731/1947 is this safe my psu 460 watt cooler master pcar

Hey bro plz tell me the exact numbers. Is there any disadvantage in overclocking this gpu and plz tell in numbers how much can i overclock?
Can my psu handle the overclocking?

please tell me the safe overclocking numbers and can my psu handle this overclocking.

there is no guarantee in overclocking and it always be risky. so literally there is really no "safe overclocking numbers". my previous 970 died only from modest overclocking. i don't even try to push it to the limit and yet it happen.

So whats the number every mini gtx 1060 should apply i have overclocked my gpu to 2327mhz memory

you should read this:

http://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/geforce-gtx-1080-overclocking-guide-with-afterburner-4-3,1.html

it is guide for 1080 but you can use the same method. also as a side not there really isn't much of a need to overlclock the memory on nvidia cards because the impact on performance from memory overclocking is minimal to none at all.

Mem overclocks can have an impact, but mainly in benching not taking. Actually in Valley its a huge impact I have found. Made no diff on my 390, likely due to the 512bit bus and thus huge bandwidth, but on the 256bit 1070 valley jumps from 93 to 97 with a modest mem boost.

OP, follow that guide. Just know that no matter the boost speeds on the box, Boost 3.0 has control and will likely take you near 2ghz as long as u have decent case cooling etc etc. Overclocking headroom is minimal as you are still somewhat governed by boost 3.0.

Mine ran 1980 all day out the box. Advertised 1843.

as your suggestion just tell me ihave done +200mhz offset and memory clock +1422 is it good to do
