I want to buy gtx 1060 3GB, is it enough to use 500 watt psu with multi-rail 12v? ... 12v1= 18amp and 12v2 = 18amp but i got the info if gtx 1060 3gb need 27amp ... if I should upgrade to the single rail psu?
I used psu amacrox warrior 80+ 500watt with multi rails 12v

My computer spec :
Amd athlon X4 880k
Hdd 1tb 7200rpm
2x4 gb ram 1600mhz
4x fan case 12mm
Please help

with your setup get a gtx 1050 ti, no need to change power supplies

if you plan on changing platform soon, then yes you would need to get a new power supply for the 1060

You need to check the combined amps/watts provided by all +12V rails. In your PSU, it's 408W (or equal to 34A).

So, if you need 27A (assuming for the whole system), then, the you'd be using 80% of the power the +12V rail can provide.

Though your PSU is not the best out there in terms of quality, built, and efficiency, it could be enough to power your rig (at that 27A calculation you made).

Thank you,
Yes,the combined amps/watts provided by all +12V rail in my PSU it's 408W...means multi rail 12v1 + 12v2 = 34 amps?
Mhmm, whether the psu I use less good? not amacrox warrior has certified 80+ psu?

It's not a quality PSU , I would upgrade it to run a nice card.
