[SOLVED] Gtx 1060 6 GB vs rx 580 8gb

So as the title says, i have two options for the same price, gtx 1060 6gb and rx 580 8 gb, I'll be playing games on full hd high settings. Mostly single player games. Also i have a monitor with amd FreeSync so would that be a factor in choosing between the two?

Nvidia supports Freesync via DP but 580 is generally slightly faster.

All the reviews I've read/watched over the past 2-3 years tend to show the RX580 as a bit faster...in almost everything.
