GTX 1060 6gb 50c at idle

Bought new MSI GTX 1060 6gb and noticed that temperature at idle 50c,does anyone have the same card and what's the temperature of that card,maybe mine is bad or that's normal?Because I have gtx 980 reference and temperature at idle is not more than 30c.

Its high for idle but maybe you havent enable power savings on nvidia control panel,or you have bad airflow on your case or your ambient temps are high.

Given that pascal is actually cool,you may test your full load temps for sure answers.

Totally normal, the fan isnt set to turn on until 60'c. Its just so the card is silent when idling.

Mine hovers around the same.

I have my profile set to not turn on till it hits 60'c

keep an eye on the temps while gaming and make sure that the fan is working, and your temps are in a save range
