Hi!
I hope you guys can maybe help me figure this out.
I have a regular Razer Blade (i7-7700HQ, GTX 1060 6gb, 16gb ram, 1080p), and it has worked wonderfully for the last 1.5 years.
I game alot, mostly competetive titles at high fps, 144hz monitor and so so.
Since about a week i get massive stutters and peak performance is also worse then it once was.
In Rocket League i drop from 150-160fps to 50 fps every few seconds, basically unplayable.
In Civ6 i just have much lower fps, and it still drops to around 25 often.
GPU Usage is there, i reinstalled drivers, deleted old ones and tbh i really cant figure out what changed.
Didnt install any new programs, besides minecraft.
I benchmarked it with Heaven and i get about 40fps average, about a third of what it should be at 1080p. It stutters/frame drops just like the games, every few seconds for a few seconds.
Only thing i noticed so far is that memory usage for the card is extremely low - Its never using a total (shared and dedicated) of more then 1gb.
Any ideas? Help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Felix
