Hi!
I had my mind set on the Zotac GTX 1070 8gb mini for a while but the evga GTX 1060 6gb SC is currently £100 cheaper and I wouldn't mind saving the extra money.
I will be using 2 1080p 60hz monitors but I am wondering if it is worth paying the extra £100. I was wondering if the performance is much different. I've seen a lot of people saying don't bother getting the 1070 if your not planning on going over 1080p at 60hz which I'm not but I want to be sure.

Specs:
Ryzen 5 2600x
MSI - B450M MORTAR Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard
Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory
Corsair - TXM Gold 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
Corsair air 240 case

I plan on playing games like shadow of the tomb raider and the new resident evil 2 remake.
I'm hoping to be able to use the graphics card for 2 years.
Thanks!

If it was me I wouldn't be getting the 1070 now that the RTX 2060 is out. You can get a 2060 for around £350 and it will out perform the 1070.

I assume you are going to be gaming on one monitor and have You Tube or something else on the second monitor. The 1060 is a solid card for 1080p. But some new games are pushing the 1060 now. Maybe going for the 2060 will save you having to upgrade sooner.

If it was me I would be getting the 2060.

Thanks a lot for your reply. I am now either considering the 2060 or the 1070 as I will not have to upgrade for a few more years. I think I'll get the 2060 because it's only slightly more expensive

I would definitely go for the rtx 2060. Has almost same performance as 1080. Just slightly lower fps
