[SOLVED] GTX 1060 6GB replacement 1440p gaming

I currently have a GTX 1060 6GB and I am struggling to play games like Red dead on 1440p at a reasonable fps. I have been looking at the MSI Geforce RTX 2060 8GB SUPER VENTUS OC card. Do you guys think this would be a good upgrade? it is currently £410 at currys and I can get it on finance which is a bonus. I'm not interested in 100fps just something around the 50/60 mark on 'High' settings would be fine as I am quite a casual gamer. My setup - i7 6700k @ 4.00
16GB Ram
Z170 Gaming K3 Motherboard

A 2060 Super would be a very solid upgrade yes. A RX 5700XT would also be right about on par.
