GTX 1060 6GB vs 3GB

Welp, my question is which gpu should i buy and why?
I mainly use my pc for gaming but in the future i'll be using it for 3d rendering and stuff, which could be better for productivity.

(I'm mexican btw, so i apologize if my engilsh is so lame)

3d rendering > CPU is more important, Ryzen 1700/1600 or I7-8700k
For gaming, 1060 6gb can guarantee ultra in most games at 1080p. 1060 3gb will have to lower setting in some games and ~10% less FPS in current games. If you can afford 6gb, get 6gb.

It depends on the games you play and how much you need the extra fps. Most games do not need more than the 3gb vram at 1080p. Also, 10% sounds like a lot but...10% of 70 is 7. So if the 3gb gets you 63fps and the 6gb gets you 70fps, is that worth the extra money to you? Only you can say.

The 3gb and 6gb GTX1060 cards are different.
In addition to 3 extra vram, the GTX1060 6gb has 1280 CUDA cores, the 3gb version has 1152.

Some production apps can make use of CUDA cores, so you should check your apps performance recommendations
