GTX 1060 6GB vs PS4 Slim 500GB

hi guys i have a 4 years old R9 270x 2GB
the card is basically * now with all modern games and it won't last much (it stays hot all the time and i run it like 14 hours a day maybe more) so i'm thinking about buying a GTX 1060 6Gb or a PS4 Slim 500 GB for all the exclusives and stuff like that.
what do you guys think i should get?
i can't get both or get anything better (my budget isn't that big)

A new gfx card or a console? I vote for the GTX 1060 6GB if you have the necessary system to support it. And if you prefer games to play at top fps @ ultra/near ultra graphics.

i have a FX-8350 and 16 Gbs of ram

The FX-8350 can handle the GTX 1060 w/o serious bottleneck. I still have my FX-8350 (4.5 GHz) machine. There will be a big improvement over your R9-270X; about 2:1. And the VRAM will triple for much better graphics capability.

But in the end, the final decision will be up to you. If you feel best gaming with the new console, then that should be what you do. I only mentioned what I would do.
