Hey guys, I'm just wondering if anyone else is getting massive FPS fluctuation in BF1 with a 6GB 1060?

The only setting that I can play smooth on is low, medium or higher it's really stuttering and fluctuating FPS massively. It doesn't seem right to me because the beta played just fine on ultra on my pc.

Anyone else having this issue? Sorry if this isn't specific enough, basically it's just struggling really bad on medium settings or higher, almost unplayable.

i5 4670k @ 4.4ghz
gtx 1060 6gb
16gb ram

Thanks for any replies.

Yeah I'm running the 375.57 which are the newest drivers.

It's not so much that the FPS I'm getting is constantly low but the range on say "high" settings is like 40-150 FPS, and those 150 to 40 drops are really bad and happen fairly frequently, on top of the fluctuation, it stutters as well and is choppy.

The beta played beautifully, it seems from the bf forums that I might not be the only one experiencing these issues with nvidia cards...

thanks for the reply

I'm on windows 7 so I don't have the option to toggle between dx11/dx12. I'm not sure what it's defaulted to on windows 7.

Libertz, my fps on low settings is 90-150+, and even on high I get 90~ but it's extremely choppy and stuttery so basically unplayable on anything but low.

Maybe I made that sound better than it is, medium or higher settings is very unplayable, it's definitely not an average of 90fps, it's like a piece of my hardware is bottlenecked but it isn't.

And yeah 30-40 sucks man, did you play the beta fine?

All sorts of factors here. Mp is very cpu intensive. Internet speed can make a hit on fps. I7 2600k @4.3 and a 1080ftw @1987hz getting 78ish-120ish at 1440p somtimes goin into the 150's. Cpu is around 95%usage and gpu at 100% What are your usuage and temps?
And what resolution are you playin?
