Gtx 1060 and i5 8300H but games still lag and stutter

My laptop is Acer Nitro V (model Nitro AN515-52) with following specs
i5 8300H
Gtx 1060 6GB
8GB DDR4 ram
1TB HDD
Windows 10 Home

I'm new to gaming and I bought this laptop very recently. I have not yet played games much. NFS payback, farcry 4 and Arkham knight lag and stutter too much in high graphics resolutions. but battlefield 4 in ultra settings worked smoothly. All the drivers are updated. Almost all the games are repacks. Is it the i5 processor causing these lags or anyother issue? please help

Well you don't have the highest specs so lag and stutter in the games you mentioned are not really weird. NFS, FarCry etc. are heavy games which required really good hardware. Battlefield 4 too, but is less heavy than those others. If you have the option you should add another 8GB of RAM. 16GB is pretty much the standard nowadays. So try that and maybe play on medium settings instead.

Also look if no other programs are running in the background.

Add 8GB of RAM. Play on medium settings.
