I have recently just purchased a brand new pc with the intel i5 6500 and the gtx 1060 and some games don't feel good, I was recently playing rocket league and it felt a lot smoother playing on the playstation 4 can someone help me, I'm currently playing on my tv but I will have my gaming monitor within the next few days.
also I have a friend who brought the exact same pc but the £50 cheaper version, the one with the gtx 970 how come he is doubling my fps on games like lol and csgo?

1.Make sure power option is set to balanced or high performance. Sometimes it's set to power saver even on desktop computers.

2. Update drivers using geforce experience or manually by using Nvidia's website.

3. Check gpu temps, stats, etc by downloading msi afterburner (your gpu doesn't have to be msi) BTW, what kind of 1060 do you have? Msi, Asus, reference?

I know this answer is late but I hope it helps. I have the same cpu and gpu on my pc (zotac 1060 amp)
