gtx 1060 and my power supply with a 6pin to 8 conector.

My power supply is a pixxo monster 800w with x2 6 PCI-X, right now im running a gtx 560 with it. its ok to use a 6 x 8 pin adapter for my new gtx 1060(it needs a 8 pin conector) or i need a new power supply?

My system:

motherboard: Gygabyte GA-Z77-D3H
RAM : x2 kingston hyperx blu 1600
CPU: i7 3770
