Question Gtx 1060 and r3 1200 as a second streaming only PC

I have a r5 2600 and rtx 2070 in my main pc for gaming, i play in mostly sims in VR: il2, Assetto Corsa Competizone, Euro Truck Sim 2 etc. These games are very demanding on CPU side and running them in VR is demanding for gpu, so there is very little room for OBS in this. I have an older system with r3 1200 and gtx 1060 6gb - is this ok as a secondary streaming only pc, at what quality is it possible to stream and which codec to use cuz im almost shore about usic Nvenc here? Thank you.

I'd prefer to use Shadowplay and use your main PC. It's simpler. But if you find that isn't working for you then try the second PC.

The problem with recording/streaming in vr is that shadowplay just doesn't work. OBS being my only option, as i explained in my post, can't really handle str/rec at sufficient quality. I record oculus mirror debugging tool which gives the normal normal screen view instead of the double eye view in my games and that adds a small load to the gpu which is already under heavy load for running VR. I have, as i said before an r3 1200 and 1060 6gb, i would start streaming with this second pc but i don't have the mobo and case which is like 100 euro, so went here to ask if this system can stream/record at 1080p 60, that way i know if its worth spending that 100 on it, or if its a lost cause

The article is about a PC which you can use to play and record, not about a dedicated 2nd streaming PC. Anyways i googled for a couple of days and found out that R3 1200 and GTX 1060 6gb is exactly the minimum for 2nd streaming dadicated PC

I am curently using it (NVENC new) and i know my rtx 2070 has a dedicated part for it, still when a game requires a lot of power the fps drops, i have stutters and other good stuff, i'm not an engineer and the only thing i can think of is that the gpu cant allocate enough resources to nvenc if it is under very heavy load (remember that apart from displaying the game in vr it also displays it one the monitor and in oculus mirror)

I think it can handle 1080p, before i had the 2070 i used 1060 paired with r5 2600 (r3 1200 was the first thing i changed in the system) and i could stream normal games like ETS2, Sekiro and even Witcher 3 in 720p well (i had <Mod Edit> internet with only 3mb up so i didn't go with 1080p even though i think my rig could handle it), games like bf5 ran poorly while streaming but thats a very demanding triple A title and my cpu cried a lot. So i think the r3 1200 gtx 1060 6gb combo would handle a 1080p stream, i never used nvenc with 1060 but i think it would be a bit better then x264 with r3 1200, but i don't really know and thats why i asked you people before spending 200 - 300 euro. I think i'll give it a try, for better or worse ill have a spare pc for emergencys, if you are interested i'll tell you if its worth it when ill do it
