I have a gigabyte ht3.0 ddr3 motherboard and a amd fx(tm) 4130 quad core processer. with 8 gb of ram my looking to play ARK will the gtx 1060 work with my RIG my current card is the gtx 610

Your processor is quite bad for your graphics card and it's going to bottleneck it, but it will work.

Take the best AM3+ socket AMD processor you can afford. If you take some high end processors, don't forget to get a good aftermarket cooler with it.

regardless, nothing you can upgrade to would handle a 1060 well you would just be disappointed


I suggest a rx 470 with the cpu upgrade, save the money
