Hey guys,

Can you please help me with one thing. I'm not really a computer guru...

My comp specs:
intel i7-920, @2,67GHz
3x2GB Ram
MSI x58 pro
i have 2 GPU, but only one is active at a time:
Ati radeon 4870
Nvidia gt 730

Im planning to buy new GPU, and would like to know if it would be compatible with these components - GTX 1060.

Thank you very much for your answer.

I have energon EPS-750 W, Those are the cables coming from power supply? I have 2x6pin+2pin, if that's what u mean?
I bought Tree of Life (game), that works very badly with my GT 730, i dont want high performance, just no lag and normal running. Do you think it will be ok with gtx 1060?

Thank you very much.

It shows a bottleneck only in worse case scenario with the 3rd-gen i5. I would get the GTX 1060. There is good performance to be gained over the 1050 Ti.

Tbh, the 1st gen i7 is only as good as the 2nd gen. i5 as the gain made from 1st gen to 2nd gen by Intel was never replicated in any generation. But that chart starts from 3rd gen. only. Trust me, I have seen the 1060 struggle with the 1st gen. i7. The cpu usage will be 100% most of the time, specially in cpu heavy games. Even a 1050ti will be a bit bottlenecked but that will be in worst case scenarios.
