[SOLVED] GTX 1060 GAMING bottleneck?

So I bought a family member a pre built destop pc ( iBUYPOWER Desktop PC NE641FX-1 AMD FX-Series FX-8320 (3.50 GHz) 8 GB DDR3 1 TB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 1GB Windows 8.1 64-Bit) a few years ago. Now he wants to upgrade his gpu from a gtx 650 to a gtx 1060. My question is will it throttle?

Depends on the game. A FX 8320 will hold back a 1060 a bit in more cpu heavy titles, it will also likely limit the framerate you are able to achieve in less cpu heavy titles. However a 1060 even paired with a 8320 will certainly perform quite a bit better in games than that old 650.
