Good Evening,

I have been lucky enough to get my hands on a Razer Blade 1060. It has been working fine ( GPU and everything ) until this morning.

I have recently performed a clean install of Windows 10 home, I restarted the system and installed steam and a couple of games. All of a sudden the fans wound down ( still spinning ) but would not increase in rpm during any game or event of high cpu usage. Temperatures increase consistenly until about 90c and the fans won't increase in RPM.

It is particularly strange as they were working totally fine then all of a sudden stopped. The only change I can think of is Windows 10 updates and XCOM 2 which asked me to install microsoft net framework 3.5 before installation. It seems that perhaps the BIOS is not talking to the GPU properly? Anyone have any ideas and I would be enormously grateful!

Look in the power options under processor power management -> system cooling policy and make sure it set to active.

Alas it has already been selected but still no change, just updated nvidia drivers again to ( clean install ).
