Question GTX 1060 low fps

I mostly play rainbow six siege and usually get around 120 fps i have a gtx 1060 3gb and im getting like 60 fps right now any solution and i may add that i have installed the most recent nividia drivers

can you system restore to a week before the last Windows update and Nvidia driver update?

If all functions, you eliminate hardware issues...

(CPU temps in check per HWMonitor? no unexplained CPU usage in task manager with no browser open? Malware free per Malwarebytes Antimalware?)

ya cpu is fine dont have malware and just tried a different driver and nothing my friend has the same gpu and is getting 140 fps
