Hello,
some time ago - like 1-3 weeks I bought new GPU (GTX1060 ASUS 6GB) and I started to exprience this error I see thousands of posts on the internet.
When I play games my monitor loses singal and fans of GTX1060 go to 100%..
I tried this:
I'm tring to fix this for like 1 week or more and I'm still getting this crash. What I find amusing is that it only happens in certain games. I can play GTA Online on ULTRA with no crash, Witcher 3 crashes only sometimes. But games like ARMA or Forest crashes my system in 30-60 minutes.
This is my setup:
CPU: AMD FX8320
RAM: 2x 4GB RAM (Kingston)
MB: M5A97 LE R2.0
PSU: Seasonic S12II 620W (PSU is like 1 month old)
3x HDD
2x JetFLo 120 ventilator
Somewhere I read that this can be caused by having not enought power. But when I use PSU calculator - like the one from CoolerMaster - I shoud need like 450W ... 500W at max.
With my old AMD R9 270x I never had this problem.
What I also tried was that I downloaded "stress test" from UNIGINE called SUPERPOSITION and ran it on extreme hd settings for 2 hours at least with no crash. And I had 15-16 FPS the whole time, normally I have 50-60 FPS in games.
Could anyone try to help? I really do not know what to do.
