Hi guys just wanna ask if you have any fix or solution for this problem.

I have a GTX 1060 MSI gaming x 6GB ed. and a AOC E1620SW, now since my monitor is on VGA and the GPU doesn't have any VGA port i bought a DVI to VGA converter. The problem is my monitor is always displaying no cable detected.

I've tried clearing my CMOS, re-installing my rams GPU, even try to use the on board GPU with the same config of cable still the same problem

my full specs is

4790k
MSI z87i Gaming AC
MSI GTX 1060 6GB ed.
16GB G.skill rams
750W Cooler master power supply

hi its the second converter i bought and we also try it in the shop i bought the converter and its working.

Hi uh its a DVI-D its actually 24+1 adopter.

For DVI-D to VGA, the adapter needs to be the "Active" type which converts digital output to analog input.

Non-active adapters don't convert the signal, they simply have different plugs at each end, the signal from the DVI-D port to the D-Sub port on the monitor is still digital and hence won't work.

oh ok so ill try to find an active type adopter will update you guys if what happen thanks!
