Hello, before i start, these are my specs: https://www.3bsystems.co.uk/intel-core-i7-7700-quad-core-4-2ghz-gaming-computer-pc-base-unit-manager-special-v16.html

All my specs are the same as the pc on the website i linked. Except i have a 1050 ti fitted into it.

Now getting into the problem..

I got this pc because i thought it was a good price for the specs. And because i already had a 1060 Overclocked, that i bought separately for my old pc, i thought i could put it into the new one. However.. after i start my pc with the 1060 in, i believe i get 4-5 loud beeps straight after turning on the pc. The pc then continues to turn on, but it says on my monitor that I have ''Hdmi no signal'', or something like that.

But when I use the 1050 ti that came with the pc, I only get 1 beep after turning on the pc, and my monitor turns on and works like normal, and i can acess the pc just like normal. So im slighty confused, because my parts should be able to handle a 1060 as well.

you can try this, install 1060 do a clear cmos and try again

You should first unistall completely your previous gpu drivers. Use DDU, uninstall and choose to shut down pc to proceed with the installation of the 1060, when hopefully you will get signal. If not update the post. 5 beeps i assume it;s a gpu error code.

Yeah. Done all that. It doesnt work. My gpu was working on my old pc before i took it out, and now its working in neither. The fans come on, yet no signal. Ive tried the dmi cable. It works perferctly fine. Ive tried resetting cmos. Ive tried uninstalling ram, ive tried taking out battery, etc. And my 1050 works perfectly fine with the same hdmi. So im assuming its only to do with the graphics card? And i defnitely get 5 beeps on startup of the pc, with that graphics card in. The 1050 on 1 beep and works good.

read my other reply to the other guy, i explained everything there. And cmos did not work

If it does the same in two seperate systems, then of course it's an indication of a faulty gpu. Other than that, i hope you have double checked all the standards, like firmly plugging the pcie cable and card to the slot. If i were you, i would physically inspect the card thoroughly. See for any marks on the lanes, and/or the power connector

Yeah i mean if the fans are spinning it should be good. Ive checked its connection to the motherboard multiple times. My last resort atm, is trying a DVI to HDMI adaptor, when it arrives. I mean the 1060 was defo recognised in the pc, because I opened GTA V and went to graphics settings, and it displayed the message ''Graphics exceed memory, this could cause the crad to be unstable''. This would make sense considering my 1050 ti is 4gb and the memory for gta v exceeeds 3gb, and the max memory on the 1060 is 3gb. Its just the damn picture to the screen. Surely the 5 beeps on startup indicate an error, that can be fixed right?
