Good day all.

I just want to ask if which is better or what should should I chose, because on the store that I want to buy, the Price of GTX 1060 6gb is 300$ and the GTX 1070 is just 350$ (promo price) Both Are Palit. I was planning to buy the gtx 1060 because of my RIG but when I saw the promo of 1070 it blows my mind on what to choose because I'll just add another 50. Is 1070 worth it or Ill just stick to 1060?

My Rig:
CPU: i7 2600 Non K
Ram: 16gb ddr3
Mobo : gigabyte Ga b75m
PSU : tiger Power 500 watts Trurated
Monitor: 23 inch Ips 1080p 60hz

Thanks for the answers

Yes, I7 2600 is at the limit where you should start planing to upgrade the processor platform.
At limit means also that you can keep your system as it is for gaming but you have already some limiting factors.
I would start planing the budget for the processor upgrade path rather than going to 1070 on 1080 60Hz monitor.
The upgrade does not have to be done now but you might want to hit the buy buttons quite soon.

If you decided to go for upgrade I would look at the current Ryzen or Intel CoffeeLake processors.

With that resolution and refresh rate clear now why not work on its foundation instead? You're at the end of your upgrade path on that board and this breathes a new modern life into your rig and adds some longevity and a performance boost which is the point.

This is assuming you already have a GFX card.
