Gtx 1060 or a rtx 2060 for an i5 6400

Right now i have an intel core i5 6400. Should i buy a gtx 1060 or a rtx 2060 cuz they are almost in the same price range. And i don’t know if a rtx 2060 can bottleneck an i5 6400.

They shouldn't be in the same price range. It's more expensive than it should be - this is for all 10 series cards - due to them no longer being in production. The 2 cards are NOT in the same performance tier either. 2060 is the faster card, but your current cpu would hinder it.

So get either an overpriced 1060, or upgrade the cpu to 7700(bios update required beforehand), because your 6400 can't go toe-to-toe with the 2060.

Thanks, but i live in belgium so i think the prices are gonna be higher. Right now, i have no graphics card in my pc cuz i got it from my dad. I think i am gonna buy the parts you said and the rtx 2060. Thanks!
