Gtx 1060 or Rx 480

My GPU recently fried and I'm looking for a new one. I'm between rx 480 and gtx 1060 and don't know which manufacturer to pick as well. My system is
CPU: amd Fx 8350 4.0
Mobo: asus m5a97 le 2.0
Ram: 8gb ddr3
PSU: 700w

You can't go wrong with either. I'd favor the 4gb 480 over the 3gb 1060. I'd favor the 6gb 1060 over the 4gb 480. I wouldn't go with an 8gb 480 because I don't need an 8gb card and by the time I do I'm almost guaranteed to want something faster than a 480.

As to manufacturer, I just go with the ones I've had good experiences with. For me that means Asus, MSI, and EVGA primarily.

I'd go with the cheaper non reference cooler.
Probably it would be RX 480 4GB.
the 1060 3gb is kinda weaker part.
the 6GB and 8GB are more expensive without perfromance advantage over the 4GB

if you dont overclock get a rx 470


wasted performance otherwise
