GTX 1060 or RX 480

So I was thinking to go for GTX 1070 but that got me off my budget. SO now I was wondering whether I should buy GTX 1060 or RX 480. I'll be playing in 1080p and be sticking to titles like FIFA, Battlefield, GTA, Call of Duty,Fallout, Sniper Elite and maybe Titanfall. RX 480 has got huge performance dips but has Crossfiring option so maybe just maybe in future I'd pair it up with another one. I just wanna be futureproof for like 2-3 years from now, to be able to run games in the coming 2 years time on 1080p with 50fps+ atleast. If either of these GPUs won't be good enough for that (next 2yrs 1080p/50fps+) I could consider going off my budget and grabbing myself a GTX 1070 (but then I'll have to cut down on some of the games I was gonna buy to balance the budget.)

PS- Whatever GPU I'd be buying I'll pair it up with a Ryzen CPU when it launches. Please help me out here. I'm really really confused here. OR maybe I'll just end up buying a PS4 Pro.
Will appreciate you guys' say on this ! !

Vega is right around the corner and...
Both are good cards, the 480 8gb is a little stronger of a card if ONLY gaming.
If you are doing photoshop, handbrake (or other program from video rendering/editing) or 3d modeling then the 1060 is the better choice because the software will use CUDA cores in the GTX to offload some of the work onto so your GPU will help with those tasks.

I'll be just gaming and just a little bit of video rendering and all for my YouTube channel

I read that R9 Fury is better than both. But it has 4GB VRAM though it got HBM memory so that won't be an issue. Should I go for it rather?

The rx 480 is a little bit cheaper, has 8gb instead of 6, supports freesync (doesn't really matter if you don't have a freesync monitor) and has better frame rates for DX 12. Although the gtx 1060 is a little bit better in DX 11. It really depends if in 2 years DX 12 would be the norm.

I got shitty GT 210. Though I got a month's time before whatever card I buy. If GTX 1070's price drop then maybe I could go for it,but I don't see that happening anytime soon. So I either gotta go with GTX 1060, RX 480 or R9 Fury as these only fit my budget. The thing is I just want to be set for the next 2 years before I upgrade my system again and GTX 1060 would serve that well. But I thought maybe Crossfiring RX 480 would be good enough too. R9 Fury is better than both of these and HBM memory so 4GB VRAM shouldn't be issue for next 2 years I guess?

Well I'm buying a new monitor too so getting a Freesync one won't be an issue as they ain't as expensive as Gsync ones and would be just right. Confusion is just the cards !

Since they are both almost equal in performance just look into the features

Vega is right around the corner and so is Ryzen. Right now really isn't a good time to buy or build. It would be better to wait and see what the price to performance offerings are in about a month.
