Hello so yesterday i bought a gtx 1060 6gb and installed it on my Predator G3610 and it freezes on the acer logo i am not able to access bios when i press delete and if i keep the delete key pressed down the computer starts making some weird buzz.
I am able to boot through the motherboard and access bios etc. And the computer works fine when I put the old GPU back in. I think the issue lies with the motherboard bios. Ive been trying to find an update for my bios and it seems I am on the latest P03-A3, I was wondering if any of you guys got any advice on what to do, i dont know if there might be a similar motherboard which bios is updated and that i could perhaps install for my current one and get the gtx 1060 to work on my computer.

My specs are:
Win10
i7 3770
16gb(4*4) DDR3 RAM
acer g3610 motherboard
450W powersupply
1TB HDD
128GB SSD

Thanks in advance!

Edit: I'm now going to try and find information on how to reset the CMOS and give that a go.

"There's a few UEFI cards that have a physical switch that you can toggle to support legacy BIOS."
Would it help if I try to change into legacy instead of UEFI which is currently selected. And if so how do I change it into legacy?

With the information ive found so far i think my only option is really to get a new motherboard which means ill have to get a new processor and i will most likely have to get new RAM memory since the ones i currently have is DDR3 but i might just get lucky and find a fairly new motherboard that supports DDR3 and has 4 slots

Ye I think i'll have to do that. But i'll leave the thread open for sometime and see if there is anyone out there that have found a way to get it to work.

Thanks for the help man!
