GTX 1060 Rattling Noise... RMA?

So whenever I play an intensive game and fan speed ramps up to over 50% I get this ugly rattling noise. I have a Gigabyte Windforce GTX 1060 6GB. It's still well within warranty, I've had it around 8 months.
Should I RMA? It has really gotten irksome and I'd rather get a new GPU if I can than regret it later.

Before you do anything... double check to make sure a wire or cable isn't rubbing against the fan blade. I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a tiny wire.

Is the card tightly secured to the back of your case? Inspect the fan blades to make sure none have any chips. Any excess dust or gunk on the blades?

I'll do a check later, I don't think anything was rubbing, but I will check and get back to you.

Yeah, took the GPU out, dusted thorougly. There are no wires near it, except the 1 6 pin connector, and none of it is touching. Still it rattles. I guess I should RMA?

If you have the GPU secured to the back of the case, and it still rattles, you should RMA. The only noise you should really hear from a GPU is the sound of the fan(s) running.

I would suggest you RMA it, but their RMA process is so difficult. I'd be curious to know how this panned out. I had a bad experience trying to RMA my 1060 6 GB.

Hey man, it turns out it was the middle screw on my motherboard! The case screw hole is all stripped, so it was that middle screw doing the rattling. Tested out my old GTX 680 and there was still rattling, that's how I found out lol
