Gtx 1060 stock

Hello fellow users,
So as you all know those bloody miners drived up the prices for GPU’s such as 1060’s. Is there any news on when the stock is coming back and prices will drop? I was just about to buy one back in June but then it happened, kinda glad only because a better card showed up which I’ll get after price drops to normal. I live in Australia btw. (Want to get an Aorus gtx 1060 6GB)

At this point you're better off waiting for next gen or springing for a 1080 Ti, which prices are normal for. I wouldn't pay HALF of what 1060's are going for right now. Freaking miners taking the law of supply and demand to a new level.

Price gouging for the 1080 Ti lasted a whole month for FE cards, and then partner cards came out and they were relatively easy to find at MSRP. Only a month after the card dropped.

Id love a 1080 TI however i cant afford one of those, even i could i still wouldnt get it because i dont play games that need that much graphic power. BTW, what do you mean next gen? is this the 2060's, 2070's and 2080's?

Probably 11 series.... so more like 1160, 1170, etc. But yes. Volta architecture. Or even Vega, but I'm not into AMD at all so I highly doubt they will put out anything competitive. Most likely just more of the same budget stuff they always do.
