GTX 1060 VGA adapter

Hello,

I was wondering if this adapter would work for my monitor since it only has a VGA port and my GTX 1080 only has DVI D.(https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01MQFRIJM)
or would I need a different one.

It claims to be "active", but doesn't look it to me.
Given it's also only got 5 reviews, I wouldn't bet on it working as intended.

I'd be more inclined to suggest using an active HDMI to VGA converter like this one with over 2000reviews.
