GTX 1060 vs 1070 at 1080p gaming with i7 7700k

Is it worth the price difference to go with the 1070? I’m building my first computer so I’m trying to figure out what graphics card to get. I’m not really looking to upgrade my monitor so I’ll be gaming at 1080p.

GTX 1070 for 1080p 144Hz

Have you already bought the 7700K? Intel's 8th-gen Coffee Lake is out now.

I haven’t bought anything just setting it up right now. I heard the 8th gen is coming out but is worth the extra ~$60 + the price for the MOBO?

If gaming at 60 Hz refresh, the GTX1060 is quite adequate....save the other $100-$150 for a new mid range card in 2 years time...

If going Z270, I'd opt for 8600K if not 8700/8700K....

If on a budget, R5-1600/B350 board is $100 less, easily....

Z270 will not work with 8th-gen Intel. Must get Z370 for that.

And yes (i think) it is worth the extra if going Intel and 1080p.
