Gtx 1060 vs 980ti

Looking at purchasing the evga gtx 1060 sc for 450 nz mite be able to get a 980ti for 500 to 550 what would be better. Any advice appreciated. I 4690k stock. 8gb ddr3 ram 750 psu

If you play games at 60+ fps, with a 144Hz monitor, you can save up for a GTX 980 Ti and it will probably be worth the money. However if you don't play at higher framerates than 60fps, and own a 60Hz monitor, just get the GTX 1060. It's good enough to play at high/ultra settings most of the time if you have the right setup.

Im sorry bud to be honest i have been overthinking the whole situation. appreciate all your guys feed back. Dont have any friends who now much about pcs. But yes you are right.

660 nz dollars. A secondhand 980ti in new zealand are selling for 600 nz. So today i purchased the 1070 for 660 nz. cheapest in the country. we get ripped off with technlogy i guess thats what happens when you live on a island in the middle of the pacific lol cherrs everyone
