Question GTX 1060

Hello everyone,

i buyed a new Graphics Card and the Vendor told me that a screw of the Backplate is not going inside, i can Use this Card with the Screw outside and is this the right Screw for this position?

What model is that card. Did it come out of the box that way?

That's a WTF. Part of the reason you want the right size screw is the head pulls down the heatsink to ensure you get proper cooling. RETURN IT. This is a returned or used card. No OEM would release a card like that. Plus it looks like a screw is missing on the back.

Running it like that. You definitely gonna brick it contact the seller and return it. I hope you have warranty or something.

After zooming in to the picture I notice that someone has been messing with the screws after it was inspected. The paper tabs over the screw have holes in them indicating the backplate was removed after inspection. I agree with digitalgriffen. Return that card.

Ok Thanks for your help, the thing is i rly want this card and it was Cheap, i dont want OC the Card, is there a way to run the Card? will the Card make troubles? Can i Buy Screws? i dont buyed the Card new.

In your first post you said "i buyed a new Graphics Card" but now your saying you didn't buy it new -- that in itself was a big gamble, no wonder it was cheap.
Will it make trouble? --- well after seeing the pics there is every chance that it will, not to mention possibly damaging something else as well.
Ask the vendor for your money back if possible, then save up for a new one.

You can try removing the screw and reinserting it or try to pick a different screw, that will fit.
