GTX 1070 4gb memory? WHAT?

So basicly i was using my gtx 1070 for the first time and pushing it as much as i could, weird when i cant play rust on full max settings with my build, playing on low resolution (on a tv as well) With an i7 4790k 16gb ram, and an MSI gtx 1070, moving on, the gtx 1070 only shows me 4gb ram on Speccy, and when i do right click - > Resolution - > Advanced , it says 4Gb Sistem Shared and 4gb Dedicared. Shouldent this Be all Dedicated?

Your GPU has 8gb VRAM, use a program like MSI Afterburner which is tuned to know what a 1070 is to confirm.

Sadly i wont have the computer for 1 week, im just wondering if this is normal at all

I don't think that program should be used to tell if your 1070 is configured correctly as no one has made any mention of ANY 1070 only having 4gb VRAM.

Trust what Afterburner says, it monitors so many GPU specific stats like how much vram you're using, how much vram you have, what mhz your gpu is at, what temps your gpu is at. If anyone has a 1070 and uses Speccy please chime in.

ill try to run the computer today but i highly doubt it that i can for now

Rust isn't a massively demanding game. I Ann guessing you are playing at 1080p on the TV, which for rust is fairly standard in my experience with the game. Your 1070 is perfectly fine as far as I can tell.
