So, my psu came with two pcie 2x 6+2 cables (the cable splits up at the end into two 2+6p).

I'm sorry for the bad quality
Shouldn't there be a single 6+2p cable in there?
Is it really safe to use them even if only one is needed and the other 6+2 is just hanging there unused?
Energyloss or other problems?
The PSU manual isn't really helpful, either.
What it contains:
-Installation (it describes what kind of cable needs to be connected - like "connect PCIE +12v to GPU" not "connect one/two 6+2p)
-Warning Informations
-Troubleshooting
And that's it.
I've also checked the Motherboard Manual, it just says "Expansion Card Installation" with a picture showing how the card is put into it's PCIE Slot
