gtx 1070 bottleneck question

soo i had a gtx 1060 3gb .. buying a gtx 1070 8gb now .. i have an i3 3210 ik HUGE bottlneck.. but my dream was always to buy a gtx 1070 and this will be my final card till i get a part tiime job which is approx of 3 years or 4 years later my question is will be the bottleneck be the same with gtx 1070 ? i mean i used to get 50 to 60fps in bf1 ultra single player with gtx 1060 3gb will i get 60 fps too ? with gtx 1070 or the bottleneck will be more ?

Thats fine. Just get it if you want it that bad. You can carry it to your next build. Besides, it wont harm anything.
Your i3 will limit the 1070 quite a bit but at the very least you should be GTX 1060 3gb performance but I can't tell you how much more performance you'll get with a 1070, if any.

You'd probably get better performance if you upgraded your CPU/MB/RAM instead of getting the 1070.
 


Doesnt work that way. Bottleneck here is, your card has more potential than the cpu allows it to perform. So basically, what you were getting with 1060, you will get the same with 1070 as the CPU cannot support any further performance from the card. lol dont expect gtx 1070 asus dual oc to be sold at below 600$ here. im getting it for like 320$ considering the bloated prices here its a great deal
