Hello guys,my gtx 1070 gaming x from msi is making a "buzzzzz"/"bzzzzz" noise. What's the problem ?Is it bad ?I mean it's a brand new gpu, bought like 4 days ago....and I'll be pretty pissed if it's something wrong with it.The noise starts only when I'm playing games, like mafia 3,batman etc.
My specs:
MB:MSI h97 gaming 3
PSU:Coolermaster G550 +80 bronze
CPU:I5 4460
RAM:16GB
GPU:GTX 1070 gaming x
SSHD:1TB
SSD:120GB

That is the sound made by the GPU rendering frames, since the computer is loading up game data, the graphics card is somethimes given nothing to chew on, so it decides to que up the same frame over and over, causing the graphics card to process the same data, and since there is no change in action on screen, the card does not get fed any more data until the game loads up.

What's your point ?Because I'm pretty sure it's coil whine!

That's what I believe the coil whine is being caused by. I have the same problem with my R9 380. High GPU load and the card trying to keep up with the rendering of frames cause the coil whine.

From what I've read it is not a defect or a problem. It's just some noise. But I asked the website from where I bought the GPU if they can change mine because of this. They didn't answer yet.
