Will GTX 1070 8G be compatible with Intel DH77EB Motherboard? I am planning to purchase one. Kindly help me, PC Part picker (https://in.pcpartpicker.com/list/2LQfqk) suggests it is compatible.

Processor- i5 3570K
PSU-Corsair VS550
Ram- Kingston HyperX 12 GB

Yeah it should I also have the CPU as you paired with a 1070 but it is on a z77 mobo. How old is your PSU? I don't know how well the VS series PSUs are like maybe someone else can elaborate.

PSU is around 3 yrs old, it does have a connector for powering graphics cards.
