will a gtx 1070 founders edition work well with my setup? asus maximus vii hero motherboard, i5 4690k cpu, gskill ripjaws x ddr3 1600mhz, Samsung evo 500gb ssd drive, corsair cx600m 600w power supply.
GTX 1070 FE specs recommend a 500W power supply for the system. If you build his system on PC part picker it shows an estimated max power draw for 325W that is including 150w for the GTX 1070. Wattage wise, he's fine. I've never had any issues with any Corsair PSUs. I have used the CX-M psu's in several builds for family and no problems yet.
Sure, as long as it fits in your case. I have a GTX 1080 Founders edition with an older setup than you have. Asus P8P67 Evo, i7 2600k cpu, 16gb Ballistix ddr3 1866, Samsung evo 500, corsair TX-650 psu.

Unless you have a case with poor airflow, I wouldn't recommend a FE. The fan noise is beyond obnoxious. My last GPU had one and I'll never so that again. 2- or 3-fan setups are cooler and quieter with no significant rise in my other component temps.
