GTX 1070 dual displays

Hi there crew!

I bought a GTX 1070 some weeks ago and since then i couldnt get my second monitor to work.

The Main monitor is an EIZO FS2331 connected by HDMI
Second monitor is and Samsung SyncMaster P2250 connected by DVI

I've read some forum threads and still no help for me.

Cant find the monitor here

Ofcourse it works great with my other computer...

nope. dvi to dvi

Will the Samsung work if it's the only monitor that is plugged in?

Have you tried hot-plugging it? (Connect to the GPU after the PC is already on and at the desktop)

Tried to have only samsung in and nothing, also the hot-plugging didnt work.
But i tried my straight dvi cable on the samsung to old pc and got nothing either.
apperantly it uses a vga to dvi adaptor there.
will buy a new dvi cable and try that

Good idea on trying another cable

I have had an opportunity to try that monitor (or maybe it was the slightly larger P2350-1) on my gtx 1070 FTW and on my old gxt 770 through the DVI-D ports and it worked.

Currently using an Acer S242HL connected by HDMI and a Philips 227ELPH connected by DVI-D and no issues
